Mikey:  If one becomes \"awaken\" from the dream, from the illusion of time and separation and from the ego-self to the universal-self... should that person still find and be with a master?

Umi: Yes. 

If you are awake, you'll love being with the Master.  If you are in the between space, where there is awakening and still there are threads to the illusion, then being with a Master is essential.  If you believe that you are awake, if you are in the false awakening, the awakening that comes through the mind, then you really need to be with the Master.  If you understand the words of awakening, \"from the dream, from the illusion of time and separation and from the ego-self to the universal-self.\", then the Master is even more essential than ever.

The moment you decide not to pursue the outer accomplishments of the world, but to discover the Truth, to discover your true self, to allow that which you really are, to emerge, then you have entered the world where no one ever escapes, except through Enlightenment.  Those who have remained in the outer world's dreams, and are still blind and numb to the pains of the outer world's dreams of material acquisitions, of supporting this self entity, of protecting and boosting the ego, those ones, are better off to stay in that way of life, until they decide that they have had enough.  Because the unnecessary spiritual struggle comes to those who are not yet ready to move into Truth, but still try to do both at the same time staying attached to the outer, the dreams, while also pursuing the inner.  To try and ride these two horses at the same time, is the agony.  You are better off to suffer the un-fulfillment of the outer world's dreams, than to be in the struggle of trying to stand with one foot on each horse, because the outer horse and the inner horse are always going in opposite directions.  When you are ready for Truth, when you are ready for Peace, when you are ready for real Love, then be with the Master, be open and available, let go of your concepts of Enlightenment, accept and accept and accept, and then Peace, Truth and Love, will come, as naturally as the spring comes after a long cold winter.
